Rising Yutes
Rising Yutes, a powerful initiative created by Stephaun Clarke here in Toronto.
Rising Yutes is about giving Black youth between the ages of 14 and 17 a chance to discover their talents and believe in themselves.
Through free workshops, mentorship, and talent showcases, Rising Yutes introduces young people to careers in acting, film, music, dance, and entrepreneurship. Many young people have big dreams but do not always have access to the right spaces, tools, or guidance. Rising Yutes helps open those doors.
This initiative also brings in professionals from the creative industry and partners with organizations like the CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals, so youth can learn directly from people who are already working in these fields.
Programs like Rising Yutes are important because they build confidence, create opportunities, and show young people that their voices and talents matter. When we invest in our youth, we invest in the future of our community.
That is why Rising Yutes deserves our support. By uplifting our young creatives today, we help build the leaders, artists, and innovators of tomorrow.
